Joey’s Weekly Game of Thrones Meme Roundup | Episode 8.03

Week Three: The Night WAS Dark and FULL of Terrors

The highly anticipated Battle of Winterfell has come and gone, or — more accurately — come and left us all broken. Eleven weeks to film, 750 people on set, a 15 million dollar budget, and the longest run time of any Game of Thrones episode, resulting in one of the longest battle sequences in television history was bound to result in some memes, right? Right. Here are my favorites from the internet’s collective processing of all the stress, panic, anger, confusion, heartbreak, and sheer terror we all felt this past Sunday. Warning: Major spoilers ahead for Game of Thrones episode 8.03!

This Week’s Clear Front Runner: Trauma.

This Week’s Other Front Runner: Arya, of course.

We can all agree Arya truly went Sicko Mode this week.

We all know Arya’s one of the best fighters in Westeros, but I think it was safe to say no one quite saw that coming, particularly the Night King.

And the internet could not be prouder of our girl who has no name.

This Week’s Honorable Mentions:

It was so damn dark.

Seriously, a real emphasis on the night being DARK this week.

TYSM to the Red Priestess and Lord of Light for turning up the brightness.

Westeros’s favorite doge made a guest appearance this week.

And Bran did… stuff?

Let’s all bow our heads in silence for OUR QUEEN, Lyanna Mormont.
