After 10 years and nearly 8 seasons we finally got the long anticipated showdown between Game of Thrones’s heroes and villains, or villains and heroes? or villains and inexplicably worse villains? It’s safe to say the battle for King’s Landing left the fan base split — leaving some fans gleefully entertained and satisfied with the brutality and shock of the episode, while other fans felt that certain arcs were negated and various events felt unearned.
