3. Twitter officially expands its character count to 280 starting today

5. Facebook is launching a 30-city tour to connect with small businesses

Facebook will be meeting face-to-face with small businesses in their tour. Mark Zuckerberg, along with other Facebook staff, will be traveling around to 30 different cities to assist small businesses in using their site.
