1. Snapchat’s Context Cards turn Snaps into location-based search queries

Users can now access information from any tagged venue taking Snapmaps to the next level. Want to make a reservation at the new restaurant everyones been snapping?  Snapchat’s got you covered.

2. LinkedIn’s Adding Snapchat-Like Geofilters for Conferences and Events

Following in Snapchats footsteps, LinkedIn is adding location based geofilters to its mobile app. Designed for networking at conferences, these geofilters will act as frames. Maybe a geofilter will pop up at your next conference?

3. Twitter announces what’s “Happening Now” for sporting events, and plans for a bookmarking feature

Twitter is answering user’s prayers with its new bookmarking feature and what’s “happening now” addition for sports. Stay up-to-date on scores in real time and have the power to save things for later. Who’s excited?

4. Spotify launches an app for artists with real-time streaming data, audience demographics

Spotify is launching a new app, but this time it’s for the artists. With “Spotify for Artists,” artists can access valuable user data and communicate with fans in real time. If you’re a dedicated fan, the artist will know.

5. Facebook rolls out Stories for all Pages
