#MeetMetter: Cassandra Clemons, Senior Creative Strategist, Residential

In today’s #MeetMetter, we’re spotlighting residential team all-star Cassandra Clemons! Cassandra has been with Metter since March 2019, and in just one year was promoted from Account Manager to Associate Designer to *Senior Creative Strategist* on our residential team.

Cassandra has helped imagine and shape many new brand identities for residences in Boston, Maryland, and beyond — and has come up with so many fun creative ideas for these buildings that make their unique personalities shine. Not only are we proud of Casandra’s success so far, but we love her positive, can-do attitude and hilarious personality. We couldn’t imagine the team without her!

How did you get your start in social media?

I’ve always loved the idea of social media marketing and was fascinated by the incredible influence it had on people when it comes to purchasing an item, service, etc. When I was in college I had a social media internship with a small local boutique. Interning with a small company had its perks because I got to get my hands wet in more than just your typical “intern work”. On top of social media I was also able to assist with styling, photoshoots, blogging and more, which helped me to develop additional skills I would use once I graduated.

When did you join Metter Media?

I joined the Metter team in March 2019. I must say it has been one fun, exciting, and rewarding year. I’m looking forward to see what this next one will bring!

Why is social media important/relevant to your industry?

Social media is everything these days because let’s face it, it’s 2020. Regardless of what industry you’re in, social media should be at the top of your marketing budget. I work with our luxury residence clients and for these clients specifically it’s more about connecting and engaging with the community than it is about anything else. Social media allows us to showcase what makes a residence unique and different rather than just another place to live. We use social media to communicate with prospective residents, current residents, local businesses and more.

What campaigns have you helped create that make your clients stand out from the rest?

I have brainstormed and worked on many campaigns for all of my clients. One campaign that is most popular in the residential industry is our community spotlight series. We reach out to local businesses on behalf of the residential community and form a relationship with them that often times continues with the property long after the campaign is over. We use this series to share information about the business and why they chose to open in that particular neighborhood. We pair this spotlight with a giveaway that requires participants to follow the residency’s page as well as the business. The results are always amazing!

What’s your #MMProTip?

My #MMProTip is to understand your brand and its personality and stick to it. Your brand’s image should translate across all platforms, from your website to your imagery, captions and more. When you create a persona for your brand or company it makes it easier for your followers to relate to and connect with.
